Head to Nowata for this fun celebration of by-gone days. The Nowata Pioneer Day event celebrates the history of Nowata with all kinds of activities, games and good food. There will be a Pioneer Princess (girls ages 6-12) and a Pioneer Queen (girls ages 13-18) competition, bed races on Main Street, raffles and giveaways. Old-fashioned music will set the mood as you browse the various vendor booths with homemade arts and crafts, or sample some delicious treats from one of the food stalls. Guests can also participate in the evening street dance during the Nowata Pioneer Day festivities and finish out the night at the Nowata Round-Up Club Rodeo.
