Located right in the heart of historic Downtown Farmer’s Market in Oklahoma City, the focus of Power House Bar is keeping everything local.
Proudly pouring Oklahoma brews and crafting cocktails from local and regional distillers, Power House unapologetically champions sustainable, farm to table practices supporting local farmers, brewers and distillers. Taste the quality difference by ordering up one of the house specialty cocktails like the Beekeeper, an intoxicating blend featuring local honey and Anthem brewing company’s Arjuna Belgian Wit Beer.
In addition to reserving much of its bar space for made in Oklahoma libations, just about all the seasonal, organic ingredients used on the Power House menu are sourced from Urban Agrarian, a sustainable grocer also located in the district. Though limited, the menu features Southwest fare such as spicy roasted peanuts, paninis, Coop F5 chile pork verde and Lovera’s smoked sausage. On Saturdays, enjoy the farm fresh, all you can eat brunch buffet starting at noon.
Named for its location as the original power substation for the farmer’s market complex, Power House sat vacant for years. Through hard work and tenacity, the owners of the bar respectfully renovated the building, bringing back its original charm while creating a warm, inviting place for friends to meet up. At Power House, enjoy the friendly, inviting bar inside or step out and enjoy one of Oklahoma City’s best patios.
