Get ready for a day of big hats, big spurs and great costumes at the SASS Cowboy Shoot in Bartlesville. Held at the Mountain Man Camp at the edge of Crystal Lake in the Woolaroc Museum & Wildlife Preserve, this two day event is centered around shooting competitions in various categories. Watch as shooters in authentic period outfits compete with long rifles and six guns. Hosted by the Indian Territory Single Action Shooting Society, this event works to preserve the history of the Old West. Don't miss out on the chance to watch as cowboys and cowgirls shoot live ammunition at steel targets using period weapons from the late 1800s.
