The Nowata Garden Market is an Oklahoma Dept. of Agriculture registered farmers market and offers seasonal, fresh, locally grown produce. In the early part of the season, patrons can purchase a variety of greens, carrots, potatoes, broccoli, strawberries, asparagus and herbs. Throughout the summer, look for blackberries, beans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, okra, cantaloupe and summer squash. Visitors will also find a variety of local products such as honey, farm fresh eggs and homemade breads.

Frequently, there are rotating guest vendors who also sell locally grown onions, peaches, sweet corn and watermelon. Throughout the season, the Nowata Garden Market features special events that highlight local artists, chef demonstrations complete with delicious taste tests, local producers, free ice cream socials and the Farm to School program. In an effort to feed everyone, the Nowata Garden Market is proud to accept SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and SFMNP (Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program) benefits.
