After three records and over a decade of touring with her band the Nocturnals, Grace Potter has branched out on her own, releasing a new solo album, “Midnight.” Moving away from the rootsy, soul-rock played with her Vermont based band, Potter has begun exploring new sonic highways, shifting into an electronic sound that's heavily informed with pop-rock sentiments. Even though the songwriter has moved into fresh musical territory, die-hard fans have no need to fear, Potter’s bluesy, powerhouse voice still provides the bedrock of her sound.
