Pull through the gates of the Rutt-N-Strutt  River Ranch near Lamar and check out of the daily grind and in to river time.

For almost two decades, Barney and Kay Arthur have been savoring the benefits of living along the Canadian River in rural Hughes County. Now they’ve opened up their property so guests can come out and create their own family memories. Bring your ATV, four-wheeler or off-road vehicle and spend the day carving up the ranch’s technical ATV trails before hitting the sandy Canadian River beaches. For a more relaxed vibe, check out the full catalog of Oklahoma wildlife populating the river basin. Hike the small mountain trails and you might see whitetail deer, turkey, wild hogs, rabbits, bald eagles and even the occasional cougar. Take a swim in the ranch’s ponds or head to the river for fishing, kayaking or canoeing. Whatever gets your motor running, be sure to pause a moment to check out the stars and breathtaking sunsets and sunrises at the Rutt-N-Strutt.

Whether posting up in the full service RV Park, tenting by the river or renting one of the cabins, Rutt-N-Strutt has a space to accommodate every camping style. In addition to the variety of guest accommodations, the ranch also offers a 1200 sq. ft. party barn available to rent for all kind of events from family reunions to weddings.

Cabins are pet free. Some leashed dogs under 10 pounds are allowed in RVs with signed liability waivers. Contact owners for more information.
