National Weather Museum & Science Center
The National Weather Museum & Science Center brings weather observation and prediction equipment to the public. Within this Norman facility, visitors can see weather measurement tools like a ceilometer and weather research radar, as well as interactive exhibits. Take a peek at a Van DeGraff machine or a tornado simulator, or stop by an educational display with plenty of photos and newspaper clippings. Children and adults alike can learn about science topics like the solar system. Before heading home, be sure to stop by the T-28 storm chaser airplane for a glimpse into the life of a professional meteorologist.
