Swing to the sounds of the the St. Louis Big Band at the Simmons Center in Duncan. Founded in 2010 by visionary alto saxophonist and composer Ryan Sheehan, the St. Louis Big Band has the energy, emotion and passion of the great swing bands of yesteryear. Step back in time as the St. Louis Big Band embodies the spirit that originally brought big band music to the forefront of popular music, performing modern interpretations of great American standards as well as unique covers of pop hits. Whether you are a big band aficionado or a curious first-timer, this swinging evening concert presented by the Chisholm Trail Arts Council is sure to be a fun time for everyone.
