Travel to Ardmore in southern Oklahoma for the annual Cowboy Way Jubilee, featuring three days' worth of song on two stages, cinema, celebrity signings, live animals, kids' activities, games, poetry, storytelling, chuck wagon food and western vendors. Thursday evening, the Jubilee kicks off with a kids’ parade, followed by an old-fashioned Cowboy Sing-a-Long. Kids can also perfect cowboy skills like roping, yodeling, fiddling, horseshoeing and hitching.

Throughout the festival, enjoy live music from local bands and learn about the American West. Vendors will sell western memorabilia, quilts, beads and other crafts, while chuck wagons will team up with a local church group to serve up breakfast, lunch and dinner. Guests can also place bids in silent and live auctions, or watch Old Western films before learning backstory details. You won't want to miss this fun Western heritage event at the Ardmore Market Place on Broadway.

Literary fans should stick around for the release of three different titles by regional authors. Retired actor, director, producer, and author Ken Farmer will discuss “Bone’s Gold,” the fifteenth book in "The Nations" historical fiction series. Actor, director and producer Buck Stienke will present his novel “Bone’s Paradox,” and T.C. Miller’s fourth book in the BlackStar Ops Group series of family-friendly spy-thrillers, “BlackStar Enigma” premiers during the Jubilee.
