The Lake Murray Nature Center provides educational exhibits for those hoping to learn more about Lake Murray State Park in Ardmore. Stop by this nature center, located at the base of Tucker Tower, and take in informative exhibits about the environment and the park's history. Besides educational stations and displays, the on-site naturalist and staff also operate out of a large classroom for occasional activities and presentations. Next time you hike over to Tucker Tower, be sure to rest up inside the Lake Murray Nature Center for a bit of history while you wander throughout the displays.

The Nature Center and Tucker Tower is open from November 1 through March 1 from 9am-4:30pm from Wednesday through Sunday. Closed Monday and Tuesday, as well as Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
