Citizen Potawatomi Nation Eagle Aviary
The Citizen Potawatomi Nation Eagle Aviary serves as a sanctuary for injured eagles that are unable to return to the wild. Book an appointment to tour this Shawnee eagle aviary, and see a variety of golden and bald eagles undergoing rehabilitation. While on the premises, guests can also learn about Potawatomi culture, especially through the tradition of using naturally molted feathers in Native American ceremonies. For an educational wildlife experience, head to the CPN Eagle Aviary to meet the stunning birds living on site.
