Siempre Viva stems from a thriving Oklahoma-Mexico sister city relationship. Shop owner Sally January spent a summer in Colima, Mexico, Norman's sister city, and after traveling south of the border for college, Sally brought some of the styles she found there home to Oklahoma. Shop at her store in Oklahoma City's Automobile Alley Entertainment District, and find a unique selection of clothes and goods created by Chiapas and Colima women.
Each piece is hand-constructed using looming and embroidery processes, and the high quality work shows through each tablecloth, pet collar and bracelet in stock at Siempre Viva. Take home the Raul dress, and wear fabric made in Mayan country highlands. Organize your makeup with a cross stitch zippered clutch, or let your feet breathe with a pair of genuine leather huarache flats. Picking out gifts is a cinch at Siempre Viva, from hand-embroidered mermaid dolls for the kids to palm plant purses for the ladies in your life.
