Good times and economic prosperity abound in Ardmore. Discover modern art at Charles B. Goddard Center. For local history, visit the Southwest Historical Museum and the adjacent Military Memorial Museum.

Dock at nearby Lake Murray State Park to enjoy the state's largest man-made lake and then head to the park's golf course, a favorite for locals and tourists.  At the Tucker Tower Nature Center in Lake Murray State Park, you'll find many fossils, a 288-pound meteorite found nearby and educational programs in the summer.  Lake Murray offers swimming, fishing, boating, scuba diving, trails systems for hiking and ATVing, and horseback riding.

In town, visitors should not miss the new Community Water Park and Skate Park.   Ardmore attracts many athletes to the Softball Complex in Regional Park and conference goers with state, regional and national conventions to the beautiful 45,000 sq. ft. Ardmore Convention Center.  The Hardy Murphy Coliseum hosts prestigious equine events throughout the year.  There is something for everyone in Ardmore.
