A Walk in the Forest
Enjoy a beautiful autumn day with A Walk in the Woods at Beavers Bend State Park. All ages are welcome to come experience this beautiful area with a one-hour hike on the Forest Heritage Tree Trail, which will feature foresters and natural resource professionals from across the state. These experts will be stationed along the trail, sharing information about the woodlands and trees found throughout the park, and how they work to keep forests healthy and thriving. Dress appropriately for a fall hike at this fun event that will feature prizes for kids and plenty of outdoor fun.
