Ray Wylie Hubbard in Concert
425 NW 23rd St
Get your tickets for a very special evening of singer/songwriter magic when Ray Wylie Hubbard takes over the iconic Tower Theatre. Hailing from southern Oklahoma, this troubadour first rose to prominence as a leader of the 1970s progressive country music movement, playing shows with the likes of Jerry Jeff Walker while building a word-of-mouth following touring the Southwest's coffee house circuit.
Over the last four decades, Hubbard has penned some of Red Dirt/Texas Country's most anthemic ballads including "Redneck Mother," "Drunken Poet's Dream," "Screw Your, We're From Texas," "Dust of the Chase" "Coricidin Bottle" and of course, "Choctaw Bingo." In addition to these classics, look forward to hearing several tracks off his brand new record, "Tell the Devil I'm Gettin' There as Fast as I Can."
Be sure and get there early, as Bonnie Montgomery will be capably holding down opening duties for this memorable show.
