Eric Tippeconnic, a Comanche artist and university professor, lives in southern California. Through the efforts of the town of Colony and State Supreme Court Justice Yvonne Kauger, he completed "The Horse Capture" in June 2018 on the long 72-foot wall of the Jamboree Building. In vivid colors, the mural depicts the capture of horses by Tippeconnic's Comanche ancestors. Visit Colony and get your picture taken in front of this stunning piece of artwork.
