Founders Day Retreat Ceremony & Night at the Museum
Join in as Fort Sill commemorates 150 years of service to our nation. As the kickoff to a year's worth of celebrations, the Founders Day Retreat & Night at The Museum will allow visitor's a glimpse into Fort Sill's past and provide an opportunity to witness the time-honored traditions that surround our Army.
The retreat ceremony will take place at 5pm with an Army bugler playing at the Old Post Quadrangle. In addition, there will be a proclamation reading, remarks from the commanding general, a mass reenlistment and a muzzle-loaded cannon crew firing.
Following the ceremony Fort Sill National Historic Landmark and Museum will have a Night at the Museum until 6pm. The event will feature living historical figures, historic treasures and refreshments provided by the USO. The event is free and open to the public.
