Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in the Gardens
Myriad Botanical Gardens hosts the annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration in the Gardens, featuring fun for the whole family. At this Oklahoma City event, the kids can create numerous crafts and place a string on the "Woven Together" art display. Take a learning walk through the Garden Classroom, and read Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quotes and life event history. The kids can also enjoy a reading of Dr. King's "I Have a Dream Speech" before listening to a live performance from a local gospel choir.
