Kick off the summer adventure season in Oklahoma City's Boathouse District with a twist on the traditional 5K race. This multi-sport event gives both youth and adults the chance to flex their competitive muscles both on and off the water in a unique biathlon while also supporting Riversport youth outreach programs. The race begins with a 500 meter kayak race on the lower pond of Riversport Rapids with athletes kayaking out and back in stable, sit-on-top kayaks. Kayaks and PFDs will be provided for each contestant on race day. Participants then transition to run 5K through the Boathouse District onto the flat to gently rolling Oklahoma River Trails, perfect for runners of all ages and abilities.
