The Flying W Guest Ranch offers a large variety of activities and entertainment for guests of all ages. Test your skills as a cowboy at the Flying W Guest Ranch, view everything from buffalo to rare breeds of birds and visit an authentic 1880s mercantile.  Guests will experience the ruggedly beautiful surrounding countryside while riding one of the Flying W's horses.  Let your horse transport you through thousands of acres of countryside and back in time 100 years or more to the era of the cowboy on a two-hour guided trail ride.  End the trail ride at an amazing archaeological buffalo dig site dating back 2,000 years.

While at the Flying W Guest Ranch, ride a mechanical bucking bull, test your roping skills in the Flying W's rodeo arena, fish in one of the well-stocked ponds located on-site, or just kick back and watch the cattle and buffalo herds graze on a lazy day.  Sign up for a weekly cattle drive that will transport you into the life of a real, working cowboy for a single day or a full week.  Only the adventurous need apply.

Plan on staying a weekend, holiday or longer in one of the Flying W Guest Ranch's small but intimate cabins that sleep two to four guests.  The fully furnished, fully equipped lodge can comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests.  RV, tent and campsites can be reserved all year long.  A full-service restaurant is also located on-site.

Make sure to visit the buffalo kill site located on the ranch.  Archaeologists from the University of Oklahoma oversee the exploration and excavation at the Flying W Guest Ranch kill site, revealing the remains of an estimated 800 bison.  Guided trail rides from the Flying W Guest Ranch visit the historic excavations and share details about the life of the Plains Indians, who herded the bison over cliffs for food.  When the archaeologists are on site, they assist the guides in demonstrations and offer guests the opportunity to participate in the excavation by appointment.
