An icon of the 1960s counterculture generation, American folk artist Arlo Guthrie will perform a special concert in collaboration with the Tulsa Symphony. Guthrie is known for his social activism and the powerful storytelling exemplified in his music, including hits such as “Alice’s Restaurant Massacree,” “Coming into Los Angeles” and “The Motorcycle Song.”

Growing up, this musician was surrounded by renowned artists like Pete Seeger, Lee Hays, Ronnie Gilbert and other folk greats. Guthrie drew from these influences and brought folk music to the next generation. Hear Guthrie perform original material and cover songs accompanied by the full orchestra at Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
