Linney Breaux's Cajun Eatery
Experience Louisiana Cajun food with an Okie twist at Linney Breaux's in Tahlequah. Voted Tahlequah's Best Cajun, this seafood restaurant serves up Cajun-crafted love in the form of gumbo, étouffée and more.
The Linney brothers grew up in Lafayette, Lousiana, and fell in love with everything Creole, especially Cajun cooking. Bringing the warm lifestyle and passion for creole food back to Oklahoma, Brandon and Michael Linney started Linney Breaux's to share "some o dat" crawfish étouffée love among the locals. "Bes believe" they use the freshest farm-to-table ingredients with their own modern Breaux twist on dishes like boudin balls served with the family's special Breaux sauce.
Cajun food staples like chicken sausage gumbo and shrimp po'boys fill the menu, alongside plenty of delicious catfish options. Another favorite is the red beans and rice, as well as the tasty smothered cat daddy sandwich. Be sure to come hungry for the weekend shrimp and crab boil, where you can opt for burn-your-face-off hot or a milder seasoning.
Sit in the glass-encased dining area and watch the passersby, or take a peek into the kitchen and watch as Chef Linney prepares both quality interpretations of classic cajun dishes, and daring new ventures into the cajun cuisine in this fun Tahlequah restaurant.
