More than 39 Native American tribes call Oklahoma home, and Tulsa's Gathering Place is celebrating Oklahoma's beautiful tribal cultures with a unique series of events this November. In honor of Native American Heritage month, join this celebration of history, culture and traditions through art, food and nature.

Shop Native art and get a real taste of culture with food vendors serving up delicious offerings. A variety of Native American goods will be available, and you can learn how to play Cherokee stickball with handmade equipment from the Cherokee Heritage Center. Explore displays of traditional Native American canoe building, hunting techniques and weaponry. 30-minute guided walks through the park will focus on Native American hunting and the use of natural resources. From enchanting storytelling events to making traditional basket weaving and corn husk doll crafts, this three-day series of events is one you won't want to miss at Gathering Place in Tulsa.
