Before all the exciting Opening Night events begin in downtown Oklahoma City, start your New Year’s Eve with the Finale 5K. This festive run begins at 3pm just east of Bicentennial Park. Participants will enjoy a scenic, flat and fast course that is great for runners of all abilities. All runners will receive an Opening Night wristband for entrance to the evening’s activities and the first 300 registered participants will receive a Finale 5K T-shirt.

From 2-3pm, Thunder Drummers, Storm Chasers, Thunder Girls and Rumble the Bison will be providing entertainment and meeting the crowd. There will also be live music and entertainment throughout the race, and complimentary snacks and refreshments. 

Don’t forget to dress festive with neon, glitter, capes, costumes, because the most festively-dressed person wins a prize. There will be finisher medals for all runners, along with original artwork and prizes for the top male and female runners and the top three age group/gender runners.
