Address:
Avery Traffic Circle

Tulsa's Route 66 Rising sculpture emphasizes local Mother Road history. Stop by this piece of art dedicated in 2019, and snap a photo in front of its 70-foot by 30-foot structure. Artist Eric F. Garcia created this historic art piece, drawing inspiration from the Dust Bowl-era Depression, as well as the Mother Road's beacon of hope. Route 66 travelers will find Route 66 Rising inside the Cyrus Avery Traffic Circle, named after "The Father of Route 66." Celebrate Tulsan Cyrus Avery's contributions to Route 66 with a trip to this iconic artwork found along the original 1926-1932 alignment of the Mother Road.
