Across the entire state this April, learn more about the biodiversity in Oklahoma by participating in a virtual BioBlitz. Become a citizen biologist as you gather information about Oklahoma's species, documenting what you find. From families with young children to more seasoned observers, this is a great activity for all ages to do individually or as a family. Make as many observations from as many different species as possible during April across the state.

To participate in the Virtual Spring BioBlitz! Oklahoma 2020 event, set up an account on iNaturalist (www.inaturalist.org) and join the Virtual Spring BioBlitz! Oklahoma 2020 project. If you have a smartphone, download the free iNaturalist app (https://www.inaturalist.org/pages/getting+started) You can also take pictures using a regular digital camera and upload them directly to the website.

Throughout the month, participate in special challenges to earn prizes and stay motivated to keep exploring. Prizes will include free registration to the BioBlitz! weekend in October at Roman Nose State Park, field guides, bird feeders and other fun stuff for field biologists.
