Algonquian Language & Cultural Convention
Attend the annual Algonquian Language and Cultural Convention in Oklahoma City to experience the Sac and Fox culture through traditional food and dance. Witness a powwow take place with varying contests, and workshops. Learn more about the Algonquian languages at a symposia relating to the language and culture of this linguistic family with roots in tribes all over North America including Cree, Ojibway, Blackfoot and Cheyenne.
