The Catoosa Art Show & Cultural Festival is a two-day celebration of the art, history and culture of the Catoosa area. Catoosa is a Cherokee name meaning "unto the hills." The art show will be a large indoor and outdoor affair featuring internationally renowned Native artists. Catoosa is the gateway to the Cherokee Nation, one of the largest Native American tribes in the United States. The festival will include food trucks, live music, kite flying and tours of historic sites of the Cherokee Nation and tourist sites on Route 66, including the Blue Whale, the Catoosa Historical Society Museum and the D.W. Correll with a display of collector cars.
