Get ready for an evening of live music during the Dancing Rabbit Music Festival in downtown McAlester. This free, reoccurring series features both Oklahoma-grown and nationally-acclaimed musicians. Guests will also enjoy a variety of food trucks and beer gardens spread throughout 3rd and 5th street on East Choctaw. Grab your favorite Oklahoma beer, a bite to eat and prepare for a memorable night of entertainment for all ages.
On May 8, Dancing Rabbit will feature country and blues musician Charlie Parr with special guest Jake Simpson. Parr has been a staple of Minnesota live music since the 1980s, where he does almost 250 shows a year.
