Dust Bowl Days Farm & Ranch Festival
Celebrate generations of families in western Oklahoma who survived the Dust Bowl with live music, rodeo arena events, educational exhibits, a downtown parade and more during the Dust Bowl Days Farm and Ranch Festival in Sayre. This festival showcases the grit and determination demonstrated as farmers learned new ways of restoring and healing the earth, giving all they had to make the land productive again.
The Dust Bowl Days Farm and Ranch Festival kicks off with the Wild Plum Jam Music Festival on Friday. Hear live music from prominent country artists like Stoney LaRue, Michael Martin Murphey, Joe Merrick, Tyler Wilhelm, Even Money, and Ragland. Attendees can also enjoy the Biscuits and Wild Plum Jelly Feed, along with the Sweet & Juicy Sweepstakes.
The fun continues on Saturday morning with the downtown Heritage Parade, followed by a multitude of activities at Sayre City Park. From rodeo arena events, continuous live music, educational exhibits and hands-on activities for kids and adults, to old-fashioned games, local vendors, food trucks and free swimming and miniature golf Saturday afternoon, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The festival wraps up on Sunday with a special lunch event "Sunday Singing & Dinner on the Ground."
