Festival Amistad
Make your way to Warr Acres for Festival Amistad, an annual celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month held in the Putnam City High School parking lot. This festival will feature a parade, a variety of cultural presentations and more. Witness the presentation of flags, hear a number of school bands and see colorful floats in the big parade to start the morning. With work from local Hispanic artists, and folk dancing, this vibrant festival celebrates Hispanic heritage and Latino culture. Don't miss the crowning of Miss Amistad and the horse show. Food and craft vendors will be on-site, and kids are sure to enjoy the games and bounce houses at Festival Amistad.
