Motorcyclists can follow in the path of early pioneers at the Butterfield Biker Bash in Wilburton. The trail was originally used as the main route of travel through Indian Territory, stretching 2,795 miles, running through what is now Latimer County. That trail has since been replaced by modern roads, but participants in the Butterfield Biker Bash will travel by motorcycle on the same route that pioneers followed in horse covered wagons hundreds of years ago.
