Pumpkin Painting Contest

Bring the kids out to Checotah for this October’s Pumpkin Painting Contest. This seasonal event is a great opportunity for kids to get creative with acrylic paint and a pumpkin. Kids are welcome to bring their own pumpkin or use one provided by the event. Spend the morning creating a pumpkin masterpiece before judging happens in the afternoon. The best pumpkin in each age group will be awarded a blue ribbon and all kids will receive a participant ribbon and goodie bag. After the contest, pumpkins will be on display at the Heartland Heritage Museum for a week for visitors to see.
