Take a trip to Boley this February to join in the Black History Celebration. Boley, one of Oklahoma's historic All-Black towns, is celebrating Black History Month with an evening of performances and artwork from African American artists. This event will feature the launch of the book "Self Made: Boley, Oklahoma" followed by a book signing from the author C.J. Kirkland.

Enjoy hors d'oeuvres while you listen to town historian Henrietta Hicks and State Senator Kevin Matthews read pieces about the area's history. Afterwards, peruse the photographic exhibit "Colored Memories," which features photographs from throughout Boley's history. Guests to this event are sure to have an entertaining and educational evening as they discover the history behind this extraordinary town.
