Join The Oklahoma Center for the Humanities and keynote speaker Dr. Karla Slocum at the Henry Zarrow Center for Art & Education in Tulsa for a day-long discussion on the important history behind Oklahoma's All-Black towns. During the All-Black Towns of Oklahoma Symposium, guests will have a chance to engage in meaningful conversations with authors, historians, town and state-level leaders, and other experts. The symposium will also feature two panels discussing the previous 50 All-Black towns, the current state of the remaining 13 townships, and their future potential for opportunity and growth. Catered breakfast and lunch are provided with free RSVPs.
