Ditty Bops: Life After Service, Shared in Song & Story
Ditty Bops brings veterans and artists together for a powerful evening of expression at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center in Oklahoma City. "Ditty Bops: Life After Service, Shared in Song & Story" was created by more than 70 participants through free workshops, and deepened by four veteran artists performing with 11 civilian artists. The work explores life after service with honesty, vulnerability, and courage. Audiences are invited to witness bravery and connection side by side, and to leave with a renewed sense of compassion and belonging. Ditty Bops 2025 is presented by SPARK! Creative Lab in partnership with Oklahoma Contemporary and support from the Creative Forces Initiative of the National Endowment for the Arts, administered by the Mid-America Arts Alliance.
