Located inside the Marlow Mercantile, the Marlow Area Museum is packed with pieces of regional history telling stories of outlaws, pioneers and the establishment of the Chisholm Trail through the town. All exhibits in the museum have been placed by local residents, featuring local history and color. Many artifacts relating to the three Marlow brothers and family are on display, like a contract signed by family members giving the rights to the 1965 biographical movie "The Sons of Katie Elder," along with original family tombstones. Learn more about the town of Marlow's rich history at the Marlow Area Museum during regular hours or by individual appointment.
