The Marval Resort in Gore is a peaceful haven nestled within the foothills of the Oklahoma Ozarks. Encompassing a total of 105 acres, the Marval Resort is located along a 1/2-mile frontage of the Lower Illinois River, and only five miles below the Lake Tenkiller dam. Enjoy the great Oklahoma outdoors and Marval Resort's wide range of lodging facilities, from basic tent sites to fully furnished lodges that are great for family reunions.

Bring your RV and take your pick from the park's 115 RV sites. Electric 30 and 50 amp hookups are available, as well as water service, sewer and cable channels. Whether looking for a premium concrete site with a river view, or simply wanting a prime back-in or pull-through site, Marval Resort has you covered. A total of 13 primitive tent sites are also available with either a park view or situated along the trout pond.

Book a stay within one of Marval's 54 air-conditioned cabins and enjoy free cable television and free wireless Internet access. Choose from one-room cabanas and bungalows to deluxe log cabins. Some units feature amenities such as wood-burning fireplaces, refrigerators and coffee makers, and many also feature outstanding river views. Cabins can accommodate 3-8 guests, while the resort's three lodges can accommodate up to 10 guests.

You'll never run out of things to do at Marval, which offers an outdoor swimming pool, splash pad, clubhouse, video games and pool tables in the game room, 9-hole miniature golf course, volleyball court and basketball court. Throw a game of horseshoes, then head over to the air-conditioned activity center for themed activities and crafts.

Other amenities at the Marval Resort include a convenience store, 24-hour laundry facility, pavilion, RV store, golf cart rentals and two bathhouses. The camp store offers ice, firewood, bait, tackle and other goodies. Large groups will appreciate the clubhouse with kitchen, reunion hall with kitchen and the resort's two pavilions with charcoal grills.

Guests can also participate in fishing tournaments, water wars and outdoor movies on summer weekends. Kids will love the splash pad, children's pond and playground. Frisbee golf is also popular at the resort, as well as low-rider three-wheel bikes and a soccer field. Fire rings are located throughout the park.
