James E McNellie's Public House
James E McNellie's Public House is an Irish pub located in downtown Tulsa in the popular Blue Dome District. This is the original location of the three McNellie's restaurants in Oklahoma. James E McNellie's Public House is a great place to grab one of 350 beers on the menu, as well as great Irish fare.
This neighborhood pub features menus with fresh, reasonably priced food and an atmosphere that is ideal for everyone. Local favorites include the McNellie's cheeseburger, the house sweet potato fries, artichoke dip, Maryland crab cakes and platters of chicken fingers.
Start your meal off with chips and salsa or European cheese platters served with grapes. Order a steaming hot bowl of soup, or try the Beer House Chili, featuring a zesty blend of ground beef, chorizo sausage and chili spices, then finished with beer. Stop in to McNellie's for the Irish Lunch Special, served from 11am-2pm daily, and enjoy a bowl of potato leek soup, a 12 oz. glass of Guinness and bread.
Brunch is served every Saturday and Sunday and includes omelettes, French toast and breakfast sandwiches. Brunch service also includes a great Bloody Mary bar. Choose your own vodka, gin or tequila and your favorite ingredients. The bartenders at McNellie's will shake it and salt the rim. If you're feeling daring, add a shot of Guinness to the blend and enjoy.
James E McNellie's Public House also serves a wide variety of sandwiches. Order the St. Patty's Melt and feast on freshly ground beef, seasoned and grilled with onions, topped with Swiss and American cheeses on marble rye, or try the Take Me Back To Tulsa Club. This sandwich features smoked turkey and ham, grilled and served on Texas toast, finished with hard cider barbecue sauce and topped with sharp cheddar cheese. From chili cheeseburgers to wraps, reubens to garden burgers, McNellie's has it all.
If sandwiches won't satisfy, try the fish and chips or order the Landlord's Cottage Pie, a casserole of chipped beef and mixed vegetables in a hearty beef sauce topped with mashed potatoes and cheese. McNellie's also serves grilled salmon, Cajun-style meatloaf and bratwursts served with saurkraut and rye toast.
McNellie's offers a great selection of draught and bottled beers, plus an impressive collection of Irish and Scotch whiskey. Featuring one of the largest selections of beer in the region, look for selections from Belgium, England, Germany, Ireland, Australia, Holland, Denmark, Mexico and many more.
