The Medicine Park Cabin
The Medicine Park Cabin is a charming cobblestone one-room cabin featuring a queen-size bed with a hotel-quality mattress, flat screen TV with DVD player, breakfast bar, Mexican tile floors and a dining area. A fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher and everything a guest would need in order to cook a delicious meal. Outside, enjoy a Weber grill, picnic table and outdoor seating.
Breakfast foods will be left in the refrigerator for guests as well as bottled water, soft drinks and coffee. Guests are greeted with a homemade pastry upon arrival. Relax in the antique claw foot bathtub or enjoy the attached shower. Visit during the winter and cozy up next to the fireplace, as fire logs are provided. In warmer seasons, park your boat in the extra parking space provided or stroll down the lighted river walk to nearby restaurants and shops.
Medicine Creek and nearby lakes offer excellent fishing and boating opportunities. The Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge has a variety of hiking trails, ranging from easy to rigorous, and is popular with rock climbers. Paddle boats can be rented in town for a leisurely float down Medicine Creek, and the beautiful Fort Sill Golf Course is just a few miles away. There are many biking trails, from leisurely to extreme. Medicine Park also offers great food and quirky little shops. If you hang around very long, you might just encounter some local live music.
No children, smoking or pets are permitted at Medicine Park Cabin. The cabin is cleaned very thoroughly after each guest with organic products with no perfumed scents. Natural disinfects are used throughout. Please call for reservations.
