Quartz Mountain Resort, Arts & Conference Center in Lone Wolf is a premier resort destination in southwest Oklahoma. Surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscapes in the state, the resort features more than 100 guest rooms with outstanding views of the Wichita Mountains and Lake Altus-Lugert. Each room also features four pieces of original art.
Cabin accommodations are also available for larger parties. There are eight two-bedroom cabins that sleep six guests comfortably. There are also two one bedroom cabins that sleep 4 guests. These cabins are furnished with equipped kitchens and fireplaces. The Mountain View Bunkhouse was built for very large groups and it accommodates up to 64 guests.
Boating, hiking, riding, and biking are just some of the popular activities available at Quartz Mountain Resort. Recreation options range from water slides, miniature golf and paddle boats in the summer to eagle watching in the winter. Visitors can also enjoy exploring area caves, swimming in the heated pool and golfing on the resort’s 18-hole course and driving range.
The Sundance Café, located inside the resort, serves three meals a day in a dining room overlooking Lake Altus-Lugert and the Wichita Mountains. A large outdoor patio gives diners an even better view during warm months. The menu ranges from salads to chicken fried steak and is known for incredible steaks.
