2012 Nothing But Modern Gala: A Night Not To Be Missed
(Bartlesville, OK) Put on your best chic attire and join Price Tower Arts Center on January 28, 2012 for a night of excellent food, dancing, and entertainment at the 2012 Gala Fundraiser Nothing But Modern. The 2012 Gala Fundraiser with its theme from the exhibition Greta Magnusson Grossman: A Car and Some Shorts, is sure to be a great time as Price Tower celebrates all things modern.
This annual event raises funds to support the historic preservation, education, and exhibition programming provided by the Price Tower Arts Center.
Guests will be treated to an exquisite dinner and dessert by Chef Tim Inman of Tulsa’s Stonehorse Café.
Along with dinner, attendees will have a dancing great time with music provided by DJ Connections and there will also be a dance floor, so be sure to bring your dancing shoes.
This year’s event will offer live and silent auctions to help raise funds. Live auction items include artwork, jewelry, an exclusive dinner party and a cocktail party at Copper Bar, among other items. The silent auction will also provide a variety of eclectic items from decorative household items to exclusive collectables. Those who wish to donate items to the auctions are asked that the item’s value be $50 or greater.
Tim Boruff, executive director of Price Tower Arts Center, states, “This year’s event will be a great evening for all who attend. We appreciate the support our community shows for this UNESCO nominated World Heritage Site and we hope events like the annual gala continue to provide the support needed to preserve such an important piece of history.”
The 2012 Gala Member Committee led by Kimberly Doenges has been diligently working on the details to ensure a fun-filled evening. Committee members include Patti Berney, Tracy Boles, Debbie Boruff, Jessica Butler, Kat Closmann, Jeannette Crain, Vanessa Drummond, Elizabeth Gallery, Linda Jones, Sheryl Kaufman, Beth Maddux, Darlene Shoemake, Theo Silas, Lynda Tippeconnic and Tamra Winter.

Tickets for this year’s fundraiser are on sale now. A single ticket to the gala is $150, while for $225 you will have exclusive access to the Greta Magnusson Grossman: A Car and Some Shorts exhibition and drinks at Price Tower’s Copper Bar. The gala dinner and auctions will be held at the Bartlesville Community Center.
Table sponsorships for companies, families or groups of friends are also available and start at $1500 for a reserved table of eight at the gala dinner.
