(Bartlesville, OK) Celebrate the New Year in style at the 2012 Price Tower Arts Center Olive Drop. Join Price Tower, 510 Dewey Avenue in Bartlesville, on December 31st starting at 6:30pm to enjoy an amazing dinner, drinks and music before watching the large olive drop into a martini glass at midnight to ring in the New Year.

Popular Tulsa pianist Amy Cottingham will be in Copper Bar entertaining party-goers from 7:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with songs that have ushered in the New Year for generations.

Cottingham, an accomplished pianist who began playing at the age of three, has performed regularly with the Signature Symphony and the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. She has also been invited to perform at the Brown Bag It series at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center, the Music at the Mansion Series at the Historical Society, as well as numerous solo performances at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

“Amy is a wonderful piano player who has been featured with some of the best musicians in Oklahoma. We’re excited that she will be part of our New Year’s celebration and I think that people are really going to enjoy her music” said Tim Boruff, Executive Director of Price Tower Arts Center.

While the musical style of Ms. Cottingham is sure to be one of the highlights of the night, the main event starts with scrumptious dining on the 15th floor of Price Tower.

This year’s dinner will be catered by Lionfish Gourmet Catering who will be providing a four course dinner, including hors d’oeuvres, salad, your choice of beef tenderloin in red claret sauce accented with peppercorns or a salmon filet broiled on cedar plank with lemon browned butter sauce, and your choice of soufflé or petit fours for dessert.

Guests may reserve their dinner seating at 6:30 p.m. or 9 p.m. and included in the meal pricing is a glass of champagne at midnight and party favors for the celebration. Copper Bar will be open to the public throughout the evening.

Shortly before midnight the countdown begins outdoors from the top of Price Tower with a large olive ‘splashdown’ to a lit martini glass. The public is welcome to view the countdown.

After staying up late ringing in the New Year, rest at the beautiful Inn at Price Tower and begin 2012 by waking up to some of Bartlesville’s best views of the Osage Hills.
