Gallery 123 Continues Holiday Giving
By Tourism Industry Partner
NORMAN – During Gallery 123’s holiday event, One Peace at a Time, members will donate 10% of all sales to Food and Shelter for Friends. This is the second month we are sharing our proceeds and we thank all of you whose purchases contributed to supporting our local community.
The two-day special event will begin with the December 10 Second Friday Circuit of Arts and continue on Saturday, December 11. The Gallery will be open Friday from 11am-10pm and on Saturday from 11am-6pm. We will resume our normal operating hours of Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11am-3pm through December 18, when the Gallery will close for the holidays. We will re-open on Thursday, January 6 at 11am. Gallery 123 is on the second floor at 123 E. Main St, above Forward Foods.
Enjoy hot apple cider and delectable holiday refreshments as you browse the many beautiful and unique gifts. Ten artists working in a variety of mediums bring to Gallery 123 many different art forms and pieces with a wide range of prices. The gallery has jewelry from three talented artisans, concrete vessels, one-of-a-kind furniture and decorative pieces, as well as quilts, felted bags and accessories, and other fiber arts in addition to sculpture, painting, and photography. There are also holiday decorations to brighten your home or office.
The artists in Gallery 123 believe that peace begins at home, one step at a time. Recognizing that local support of a thriving arts community is an essential characteristic of a vibrant city, they hope everyone will join them in supporting local arts, buying local goods and produce, and giving back to the community.
Take advantage of this opportunity not only to find unique holiday gifts for family and friends but also to reach those in the community who need your support. The gallery’s selections make it possible for everyone to find something special and in the process know that 10% of what they spend will go to Food and Shelter for Friends.
