Medicine Park Art Walk Calls for Submissions

MEDICINE PARK, OK – Artists, you are invited to submit a photo of your work for the 2nd Annual

Medicine Park Art Walk sponsored by the Medicine Park Economic Development Authority and the

future Medicine Park Museum of Natural Science, Saturday, Oct. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.  The Art Walk is

collocated with the Medicine Park Flute Festival, Oct. 7, 8 and 9. Work will be displayed along the Bath

Lake sidewalks and the Charlie Wright Creek Walk. 


                Last year’s Art Walk offered paintings, drawings, gourds, jewelry, pottery, flutes and drums,

and other fine art attractively displayed. There is a $25 fee for each exhibit space and no percentage

will be charged for sales. Electricity is not available and no resale items will be allowed.   This is a

juried show with limited space. Please send a high-resolution photograph of a sample of your work to


                To get there: From Oklahoma City, head south on I-44 to the Medicine Park exit for Highway

49. Traveling west, go approximately 6 miles to Medicine Park and follow the signs for the

parking areas. From Wichita Falls, head north on I-44 , take the Medicine Park exit and

continue west on Highway 49.
