The event you’ve been waiting for, a legendary night for sports fans is almost here!  The Snowball Classic will be held Thursday, January 27th, 7:00pm at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami.

This fun filled evening includes a ball park dinner and soft drinks, cash bar, an auction with sports memorabilia, trips and much more.  Featured guest speaker will be legendary Olympic gold medalist softball player Jennie Finch.  The event is hosted by Miami RBI (Renewing, Building, Investing), a grass roots organization dedicated to raising funds to renovate Miami’s baseball and softball fields.

A recently retired softball player for the USA National softball team, The Chicago Bandits, Jennie Finch has been described by Time magazine as the most famous softball player in history.  Named 2010’s Softball Female Athlete of the Year by the ASA (Amateur Softball Association of America), Jennie led team USA to a gold medal victory in the 2004 Olympics, and also pitched for the 2008 Olympics as well, where the team received a silver medal.  In her college career at the University of Arizona, Finch struck out 1,028 players.  She holds the NCAA record for consecutive wins with 60 (2002).  In the 2004 Pepsi All Star Softball Game, Finch struck out Major League Baseball players Albert Pujols, Mike Piazza and Brian Giles.  Snowball Classic attendees will have a unique opportunity to have their photo taken with Jennie.

Tickets prices are $25 for adults and $20 for students.  Seating is limited.  To purchase tickets or for more information call 918-542-4479.  Mastercard and Visa accepted.
