In the fall of 2000 artist Robert Morris was featured in the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum’s “Persimmon Hill Magazine” at the beginning of this historic project – to capture in pastel a portrait of one member of each Native American Tribe in the United States. He has completed the first 100 portraits and will have them on exhibit during June in the Paseo Originals Art Gallery in Oklahoma City. Located in the historic Paseo Arts District of Oklahoma City, Paseo Originals is the newest, and one of the largest, galleries in the District. Featuring not only fine art by American artists, but also the fine craftsmanship which is a long standing American tradition. Robert “Bob”  Morris will attend the opening of this exhibit at 2920 Paseo during the Paseo Art District’s First Friday gallery walk from 6 - 10 pm on June 3rd, 2011. He will talk with guests about his subjects and his travels to capture these amazing images. Please join us for this very special event. The exhibit runs through June 25, 2011.
