The 28th Annual Pelican Festival is September 23-25 in Grove Oklahoma, and will be filled with arts and crafts, a carnival, a street concert, entertainment, a parade and a murder mystery dinner.

There will be an Arts and Crafts festival which will be held at the Grove Community Center in Downtown Grove. There will be food, bouncy houses for the kids, indoor and outdoor shopping and live entertainment everyday all in one location. On Friday night there is also going to be a street concert at the Community Center from 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm, so the whole family can enjoy the evening listening to music.

On Saturday there will be the annual Pelican Festival Parade starting at 10:30 am and it will go through Grove. This event is always great as area groups liven up their vehicles with pelican artwork. There will be some great local bands and the Shriners will have their cars as well. This year's parade Marshalls will be Governor George Nigh and his wife Donna.

A new event this year is the Murder Mystery Dinner at the Royal Bay Restaurant on Saturday night. This will be a fun-filled evening that will not only have great food, but will have a professional Murder Mystery that will be interactive, funny and filled with mystery. The dinner starts at 7pm and seating is limited. You can make reservations by calling 918-786-2289.

The carnival will also be going on at the Civic Center from Thursday night the 22nd through Sunday. Pay-one-price wristbands tickets can be purchased in advance for $20.00 each at the Grand Lake Visitor's Center or at carnival for $25.00 each.

Har-Ber Village will also offer Free Admission on Saturday and the Cherokee Queen will be providing Pelican Tours all weekend.
