Saturday and Sunday, July 23 & 24, 2011, from 10am to 7pm on Saturday and 1 to 5pm on Sunday, is “Smurf Weekend” at The Toy & Action Figure Museum. The museum celebrates the July 29th opening of the latest Columbia Pictures release, ‘Smurf’ with movie giveaways from the studio!!

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours -- in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Enjoy your visit to the museum celebrating Smurf Weekend and with a Smurf scavenger hunt.  The movie studios provide some really fun items for the museum to give away. You will not want to miss it.
