Taste of Claremore
By Tourism Industry Partner
The second annual Taste of Claremore is shaping up to be a huge hit again this year. This event is part of Destination Claremore, a weeklong series of events in Claremore and the surrounding area. The Taste is a spectacular evening for both vendors and guests; it’s one you won’t want to miss!
The Taste of Claremore will be Friday, May 6 from 6 to 8 pm at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum. Tickets are on sale now! They are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 & under if purchased in advance; $12 for adults and $7 for children 12 & under at the door.
Local restaurants, caterers, and wineries will be showcasing their signature dishes for everyone to sample. All the vendors are very excited to be able to show-off their hard work. Guests will be able to tour the Will Rogers Memorial Museum and enjoy music provided by JT and the Big Band throughout the evening.
“I have heard rave reviews from both vendors and guests that attended the Taste of Claremore last year. With the added entertainment from JT and the Big Band, it is going to be the perfect night out on the town for couples or friends,” said Lisa Dennis, Claremore Convention and Visitors Bureau intern.
Roberdes Family Winery and Oak Hills Winery will both be offering wine samplings at this event. Let your inner connoisseur take over as you pair these selections with different appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Some of the restaurants and caterers that will be taking part are Hammett House, Country Inn Bed & Breakfast, Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs, Walke Brothers Meats, Hot Mama’s Deli, Molly’s Landing, Elks Lodge, and the Tea Room at the Belvidere Mansion.
Tickets are available for purchase at the Claremore Convention and Visitors Bureau, 419 W. Will Rogers Blvd., The Route 66 Nut House, Walke Brothers Meats, and Will Rogers Memorial Museum Gift Shop.
